The organic grapes were picked with great care from 10 years old vines. The production process was no less measured and made use of the latest technology in order to retain as far as possible the natural characteristics of the grapes. This carefully prepared wine is placed in barrels of American and French oak for at least 12 months after which it is bottled and laid down for a period of at least another 12. months.

Visual: Deep cherry red colour, well bodied and stable, clear and bright with a plentiful tear.

Nasal: Full and complex aroma, suggestive of slightly sharp red fruit due to the Graciano. Hints of compote fruit, roasted coffee and a subtle spiciness.

Taste: Big bodied wine, plenty of fruit, slight taste of liquorice which gradually yields to a more chocolate like taste with slight toasting notes.

Bagordi & Food

Great together with pasta, chicken salad, lightly spiced Oriental and Indian foods, Spanish Serrano ham and any grilled meats.

Ideal serving temperature 17ºC to 19ºC

Note: Some sediment may form over the passage of t time. This is of no consequence.
